Kevin Chow

Hi, my name Kevin Chow and I am a freshman at St. John's University, majoring in pharmacy. This first semester has been both challenging and fun so far, giving me a whole new experience that I have never had previously. Being immersed in so many classes has given me knowledge that I never thought I would ever have. Experiencing classes such as DNY Art which makes us explore New York City, has given me a whole new view of the world. It makes me realize how much I am missing out on, which gives me an incentive to explore more on my own in the future. 

 

As a person who likes to help others, my ultimate goal after college is to graduate from this program and become a pharmacist in a hospital, where I am able to assist people in need of medication. Not only that, I would like to see the smiles of patients who I am able to help after they are able to get better from their illnesses. I can't wait to see and experience the adventures that await me after graduation. Now here are some fun facts about me!

• Bronx High School of Science 2015-2019

  • Honor Roll, Recognition Award for Calculus, Epidemiology, and Psychology​

Hobbies:

• Running

  • High School Track and Field Team for 4 years​

  • Captain during last year

  • 3rd fastest sprint relay team last year

  • Enjoy running for fun

• Swimming

  • Enjoy swimming for fun​

• Cooking

  • Enjoy experimenting with ingredients to create amazing dishes

• Gaming/Watching TV Shows

  • Spends any free time I have enjoying games and TV shows

Volunteer/Community Service:

• Random Community Service Events 

  • Enjoy participating in any community service events when I am free​

  • Have participated in charity walks, environmental cleanups, and drives

  • Assisted my teachers in high school by tutoring students struggling in a certain class​

• Teacher's Assistant

  • Spent my Saturdays assisting teachers at a school by helping them watch over students ​

  • Helped students with work related questions
